2009 NTA Auction
Where business and pleasure fit perfectly together…Come, See For Yourself

NTA Banquets are filled with fun, fellowship and excitement. Most importantly it is filled with dedication to the taxidermy industry and fundraising. You can meet and greet friends and bid on some terrific auction items at bargain prices. If you place the highest bid then you could go on an exciting hunting or fishing adventure, own a beautiful piece of artwork, mannikin, glass eyes, tanning, or attend a one on one seminar with your favorite taxidermy instructor. At an NTA convention there is something for everyone! By making a purchase at the NTA through the silent auction, ticket sales or live auctions you are helping our profession, promoting conservation and our commitment to the taxidermy tradition.

  • Southern hunting at its best!  The purchase has the opportunity to take boar in the beautiful Alabama woodlands. This is a 2-day one-of-a-kind wild boar hunt with past NTA president and past NTA secretary, Al and Evelyn Holmes. You will be hunting the beautiful woods of Alabama for an unforgettable experience.   Includes accommodations as well as meals and guide service, no license required.  Al and Evelyn have generously donated 2 of these 2-day boar hunts to the auction.

Located in Stuart, Florida, “Sailfish capitol of the world” Mike has graciously provided the purchaser 2 options. Option 1, will include two days of inshore fishing with the primary target being Snook. (If you are interested in offshore fishing contact Mike personally as additional fees may be required). Option 2, includes a 1-day fishing trip with Snook being the primary target in addition to a 1-day fish reproduction workshop. If you aren’t the lucky bidder feel free to contact Mike and his staff as they will be glad to assist you with your next reproduction purchase.  License, accommodations, food and drink are not included. Value is over $1200.00.

Not Able To Attend The Convention?
You and Your Client
Can Bid By Proxy!
How Proxy Bidding Works?

1. Decide the maximum amount you’re willing to pay on an auction item.

2. The NTA will now confidentially bid up to your maximum amount.

3. If other bidders outbid your maximum at the end of the auction, you don’t get the item. But otherwise, you’re
the winner--and the final price might even be less than the maximum you had been willing to spend!

4. Have your client telephone no later than July 1st, NTA Headquarters (866) 662-9054 or they can email their information to Ntahq@aol.com

Remember: The NTA will use only as much of your maximum bid as is necessary to maintain your position as high bidder. Winning with the NTA has never been easier!
